I'm not sure whether it's the iPhone 3G or the HTC Touch Diamond/Touch Pro that took the flame from the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, but the truth is that lately we haven't heard much about Sony Ericsson's superphone. From what we know, 3 will launch the device somewhere in November and will bind it with plans that start from 30 GBP a month. That may sound kinda steep, but considering you'll be getting one of the most powerful handsets on the market, it's not actually expensive.</p>
<p>We don't know, though, how much the device will cost unlocked. It won't be cheap, that's for sure. Hopefully, we'll have more to report on Xperia soon. Scrap that, we want the evaluation unit. <p>We love classic handsets as much as anyone else, but it seems that Sony <b>Ericsson</b> is going the nostalgic route with their unannounced Sony <b>Ericsson</b> Remi. It's still a rumor at this point, but the handset bearing the codename "Remi" is apparently Sony <b>Ericsson</b>'s remake on the tried-and true favorite, the Sony <b>Ericsson</b> T610.</p>
<p>The Sony <b>Ericsson</b> T610 was a huge hit for the handset manufacturer back in 2003, so we can't blame the Japanese-Swedish for yearning for the good old days. From the looks of the Remi, Sony <b>Ericsson</b> has taken a page out of the T610's design playbook with a two-tone exterior and non-Walkman branding.</p>
<p>The Sony <b>Ericsson</b> Remi is apparently based on the Sony <b>Ericsson</b> W890 platform, and so will feature a 3.2 megapixel camera and HSDPA. But, the company has seemingly dropped the "W" (Walkman) branding for this nostalgic handset. And, in keeping with the slim monoblock profile that we love seeing on the Sony <b>Ericsson</b> W890, the Sony <b>Ericsson</b> Remi will be about 10mm thick!</p>

Pocket-lint is reporting that Sony is considering to go it alone for production of the oft-rumoured "PSP Phone". Previously we have seen patents, mock-ups, fakes, and suchlike - but no phone!Apparently the relationship between Sony and Sony-Ericsson has become somewhat frosty, over what sony considers the "strategic error" of giving SE it's "Walkman" brand name.
Additionally, another comment is that the PSP Phone will actually just be a PSP with different/additional radio chips inside it, to allow it to make calls too - I presume via a headset, since holding a PSP up to your head would look like you are trying to make a phonecall on a shoe!
Well, rumours abound, but it ain't over until a certain lady sings…..
